Asphalt Extender

This product is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly asphalt functional additive, presented in a blackish-brown liquid form. With an addition amount of only 0.5% to 3.0%, it can significantly enhance the low-temperature ductility and anti-aging performance of asphalt materials, and is particularly suitable for road engineering in extremely cold, heavy-load and harsh climate conditions.

For SBS modified asphalt, this product can increase its ductility before aging by 15-30cm. After simulating long-term aging through RTFOT (Rotating Film Oven test), the ductility still increases by 5- 15cm. Compared with traditional furfural oil, it shows a stronger anti-aging advantage and can effectively delay the embrittlement and cracking of the road surface caused by ultraviolet rays and high-temperature oxidation. Its molecular structure design takes into account both low-temperature flexibility and durability. It can maintain the excellent deformation capacity of asphalt even in an extreme environment of -30 , significantly reducing the risk of temperature shrinkage cracks. It is particularly suitable for the road construction needs in high-altitude and large-temperature difference areas in Northeast and Northwest China as well as South America. 

The product demonstrates excellent compatibility with a variety of mainstream asphalt: for South American asphalt from Venezuela (such as high-richness asphalt, alpha asphalt, etc.) and Xinjiang Tianyuan base asphalt, the anti-aging effect of this product is more obvious than that of furfural extracted oil.

In addition, this product adopts a low-volatility and environmentally friendly formula, with no obvious pungent odor, meeting the green construction standards. While reducing the impact on the health of construction workers, it achieves long-term economic benefits at a low cost (the cost of adding asphalt per ton is controllable) - The actual engineering data shows that after addition, the strain value of the asphalt mixture in the low-temperature bending test at -20℃ is increased by more than 20%, and the major repair cycle of heavy- duty roads can be extended by 3 to 5 years. It is suitable for highload scenarios such as airport runways, cross-sea bridges, and port freight channels, as well as special functional pavements such as tunnels and noise-reducing roads.
