Method of application

1. Grooving and cleaning: Groove the damaged area (or remove loose materials), and trim the edge walls to ensure that the pothole and groove are solid, clean,  and free of standing water. 

2. Spreading cold patch material: Evenly spread the water-activated cold patch material into the pothole, about 1CM higher than the original road surface. If the  repair thickness exceeds 5CM, it needs to be spread in layers. 

3. Compaction: Compaction should be carried out after spreading. You can use a plate tamper, a vibratory tamper or a car tire to compact it back and forth until it  is dense and flat. 

4. Water spray activation: Evenly spray an appropriate amount of clean water onto the surface of the laid cold patch material. 

5. Open traffic: Traffic is open within 40 minutes, significantly reducing the time of traffic closures.
